Great thick material, well made. It was very baggy though, almost didn’t wear it because it was so large. Also it was hard to tell from the website photos but was expecting the pattern to have a light shimmer on the gold/yellow color in the pattern but it was just plain yellow. Still a beautiful patterned fabric.

I love everything from Merrick but this dress fell short. It was too big on top and too short- compared to her other dresses. It’s adorable and well made, just didn’t fit so i didn’t wear it. But I will continue to trust and buy from her site. This dress just didn’t meet her normally very high standards.

Lovely lovely dress, got lots of compliments, I wore this on Christmas eve, super comfortable and flattering, I have a very generous bust and was a bit nervous about the fit, but it is beautiful, great quality! Look forward to getting another holiday dress from Merrick next year!

It’s not flattering on too much fabric. I didn’t realize it was a final sale until I went to return it. I am slender so I gave it to my daughter to try. She is curvy so I hoped it’d work for her and it didn’t. Wish I could return it, especially for the cost.

I love the cut and color of the dress. I think the fit would be fabulous if it came in petite- the sleeves are too long, so I folded the cuff under until I can properly shorten them.

The dress seems to run very big, the shoulders were several inches wider than my shoulders and the waist seam was several inches above my natural waistline.

I have bought MW dresses for years and in a variety of sizes as my weight and shape have changed. Since previously purchased mediums were starting to feel a bit snug in the bust and I am between an 8 and a 10, I decided I should probably size up this time and go with a Large. I wish I hadn't. The print is incredibly cute, but even tying the belt securely around my waist couldn't hide how incredibly big it still was in my torso, and the sleeves were huge. I'll still likely be wearing it for Christmas - that's why I invested in it - but I'm going to have to do some major alterations. If I could return it, I would.

The fabric feels very nice and the colors are vibrant, but the dress unfortunately was not flattering on me. The shoulders were too wide and the waist seam hit too high on me, making it look like a babydoll dress.

I wasn’t sure which size to get. My waist is typically a 29 or 30 but I haven’t worn a size 8 in 15 years. I am usually a size 10. So I bought both the medium and large. The medium fits like a glove. That said I may keep the large after all because in my experience viscose shrinks even when I wash in cold and lay flat to dry. The dress itself is beautiful. I love the plaid and the bow brings the waist in and makes it flattering and gorgeous.
