At Merrick White, we take immense pride in producing and manufacturing our Merrick White Collection in Los Angeles, California since 2019. Our mission is to deliver unparalleled quality and craftsmanship through our custom handmade pieces that are built to stand the test of time.
1. Unrivaled Quality and Craftsmanship
Every single step of our manufacturing process is meticulously traced back to the USA. From Merrick's initial design sketches, to pattern creation and sewing, manufacturing, and all the way to product fulfillment, we support domestic USA companies. Our fabric is custom made in the USA. Our fabric is made from fibers using a wood pulp and it is knit, dyed and/or printed in L.A. and then transferred to the hands of our skilled artisans sewing each piece in our L.A. factory. What sets our products apart from the rest is our unmatched attention to detail and superior craftsmanship.

At our LA factory, we hold ourselves to higher environmental and labor standards, creating ethical working environments for our workers and providing living wages. We believe that ethical practices foster an atmosphere of respect and care, resulting in products made with love and dedication.
3. Sustainability at Heart
Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond just creating durable fabrics. We craft seasonless styles designed to be worn every day, year-round, reducing the need for constant replacements. After our sewing production, we donate leftover fabric to local organizations, to be repurposed and transformed into innovative new designs, reducing waste and supporting local artisans.

By transferring our USA-made pieces from our L.A. factory to our woman-owned warehouse in L.A., we ensure shorter travel times and minimized carbon emissions. This, in turn, allows us to ship all orders directly from our Los Angeles warehouse, resulting in faster shipping times for you.

INDIA
At Merrick White, we take immense pride in producing more than 80% of our items right here in the USA, honoring the craftsmanship and quality that our nation has to offer. However, we couldn't ignore the opportunity to bring you something truly extraordinary and we thoughtfully decided to introduce a new collection to our MW line made in India.
1. Partnering with a Small Woman and Family Owned Business
In our pursuit of creating custom prints and fabrics that push the boundaries of what we could attain in the USA, we found a perfect match in a small, woman, and family-owned business in India. Together, we're crafting one-of-a-kind prints with viscose, a new sustainable natural plant-based fabric that not only feels luxurious but also aligns with our commitment to high quality, long-lasting fabrics.
2. Empowering Sustainability Through Reuse and Recycling
Our India factory shares our dedication to sustainability. Every single fabric scrap generated during the production process is given a second life. By transforming these scraps into rugs, sarongs, totes, headbands, and more, we create a positive impact for the local rural women in India.
3. We Care About Our Global Footprint
While a portion of our Merrick White Collection comes from afar, we assure you that our commitment to domestic manufacturing remains unchanged. We will continue to focus on crafting the majority of our items in the USA, supporting local factories and bolstering the economy.
